Study programme Master in Tourism, Sport and Recreation Management is designed in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. The programme last one academic year and successful students earn 60 credits or ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and obtain a degree .

The aim of this study programme is to create highly educated managers in the field of tourism and recreation, competent to work and conduct research as both independent researchers and team members.

The system of education at the Faculty of Sport is formatted according to the Bologna matrix studies and includes an interactive small group teaching, mentoring in English (optional), workshops, panels, seminars, clinics, project development etc. Through independent choice of optional and elective courses, students customize their studies towards personal desires and ambitions.

The studies comprise of compulsory and elective courses (modules) and Master thesis.

Compulsory modules: Methodology of Scientific Research – 7 ECTS, Marketing and Promotion in Recreational Sport  Contemporary Trends in Recreational Sport and Tourism – 7 ECTS and Research Project in Sport Management – 9 ECTS.

Electives: Human Resources in Recreational Sport and Tourism – 8 ECTS, Risk Management and Ethics in Recreational Sport and Tourism – 8 ECTS (Electives 1), Management in Tourism – 8 ECTS, Resources Planning and Management in Recreation – 8 ECTS (Electives 2).

During their last semester, candidates write their Master thesis which comprises 14 ECTS.
